The Future of Industrial Engineering

Not only jobs

We are not hiring people to fill positions. We are building a team of engineers, scientists, and industrial thinkers who want to work on problems that actually matter — problems where the outcome is measurable in real industrial performance, in real factories, on real production lines, at European scale.

How It Works

More than a role.

The engineering challenges at DG ADVANCED are not abstract. They are measured in weight reduction percentages, scrap rate deltas, and time-to-market weeks recovered for industrial organizations that are trying to build the next generation of vehicles, machines, and systems in a regulatory and competitive environment that has never been more demanding.

We work at the intersection of materials science, AI engineering, and physical manufacturing. This means every person on our team operates in a domain where the gap between simulation and production floor is something you cross regularly — not something you observe from a distance.

We are part of the European innovation ecosystem. We participate in research collaborations, industry consortia, and academic partnerships that position DG ADVANCED — and the people in it — at the leading edge of industrial engineering thinking on the continent.

Converging Forces

Who We're Looking For.

We are not hiring generalists. We are building a concentrated team of deep technical specialists who can operate at the intersection of their domain and adjacent disciplines — engineers who understand that the best materials science is useless if it cannot be manufactured, and the best AI model is useless if it cannot be validated against physical reality.

Materials Science

Materials Engineers & Scientists
Deep knowledge of structural materials behavior — AHSS, aluminum alloys, composites, or surface engineering — combined with the ability to translate laboratory understanding into production-relevant engineering decisions. You think in process-structure-property relationships, not data sheets.

AI & Computational Engineering

AI Engineers & Simulation Specialists
You build models that are deployed in industrial programs — not benchmarked on academic datasets. Physics-informed neural networks, surrogate FEA models, uncertainty quantification, and materials informatics. You care deeply about validation against physical test data.

Industrial Manufacturing

Manufacturing & Process Engineers
You have stood on production floors and understand what «process window» means in practice — the variability, the constraints, the economics of yield at volume. You connect simulation outputs to real tooling, real throughput, and real quality systems.

Systems & Digital Engineering

Digital Twin & Systems Engineers
You build the digital infrastructure that connects materials data, simulation models, production telemetry, and engineering decisions into a coherent, live system. You understand that a digital twin is only as good as the data it is continuously calibrated against.

Engineering Principles

01.

Impact is Measured, Not Claimed

Every project at DG ADVANCED has a measurable outcome — time saved, mass reduced, scrap reduced, AMIF score improved. We do not work on programs where success cannot be quantified against a defined industrial baseline.

02.

Production Floor Credibility

Our work is validated where it matters — in production environments with real materials, real tooling, and real constraints. We maintain the discipline to test our assumptions against physical reality, not just against simulation benchmarks.

03.

Long-Term Industrial Thinking

We are not building for the next product cycle. We are building methodologies, tools, and ecosystems that will define how European industry makes materials and engineering decisions across the next decade. Decisions made here persist.

04.

Technical Depth Over Breadth

We value engineers who can go deep in their domain and are intellectually honest about the limits of their knowledge. We build cross-domain capability through collaboration — not by asking individuals to be experts in everything.

05.

Responsibility at Industrial Scale

The engineering decisions our team supports affect production programs across millions of components per year. We approach this responsibility with rigor, validation discipline, and the awareness that conservative engineering is not the same as cautious engineering.

European Innovation Ecosystem

Work inside a living ecosystem.

Joining DG ADVANCED means joining a network, not just a company. Our team participates in European research collaborations, industrial consortia, and academic partnerships that put them in rooms with the people shaping the next generation of advanced manufacturing methodology.

This means your work is not isolated inside one company’s product roadmap. It is tested against external validation, peer review, and industrial deployment across multiple sectors and geographies — creating a level of technical credibility that is rare in industrial engineering careers.
